13 The funding for a fully electric vehicle is EUR 6,000 for a base vehicle with a net list price of less than EUR 40,000 and EUR 5,000 for a base vehicle with a net list price of over EUR 40,000.
The funding for the plug-in hybrid models is EUR 4,500 for a base vehicle with a net list price of less than EUR 40,000 and EUR 3,750 for a base vehicle with a net list price of over EUR 40,000.
The funding is granted up to a maximum net list price of the basic vehicle of EUR 65,000. If the net list price of the base vehicle exceeds this amount, there is no funding. Half of the funding is paid by the car manufacturer and one by a federal grant. The share of the manufacturer is paid out net, that of the federal government gross for net.
The amount and entitlement to claim the environmental bonus is regulated by the funding guidelines available on the website of the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control at www.bafa.de/umweltbonus. There is no legal entitlement to the environmental bonus. The environmental bonus ends when the funds provided are exhausted, at the latest on December 31, 2025.
The official figures for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and electricity consumption were determined according to the prescribed measurement procedure Regulation (EU) 715/2007, as amended. The specifications take into account differences in the selected wheel and tire size. For this vehicle, other than the values given here may apply to the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related charges which (also) affect CO2 emissions. Illustrations show special equipment. The vehicle is determined on the basis of the new WLTP test cycle and calculated back to NEDC for comparability.
